Newly bought a G9 and it's amazing! How I miss the compact camera feel after selling my S2IS and letting the A70 to my sister. I hadn't been using digital compact for 1 year and 9 months since I first bought the Canon 40D.

It's weekend. I finally have a camera putting inside pocket during weekend. No more burden on my shoulder.

The HDB block that we are very familiar with:

The image quality still can't compete with DSLR. Distortion is obvious at wide end. Need PP to correct the distortion. So far, DPP and Photoshop are not supporting G9's raw file yet.

Somemore for today:

Traffic at PIE - taking from the car
The B&W function from G9 is not good enough. Need PP to bring up the contrast. The wide screen mode is new to me rather than crop in PP but not raw
Btw, I really like it's full manual control and its superb solid built.

The built-in ND filter allow 3 stops slower shutter.
This is taken by handheld, ISO80, 1/15s, f/8.
