Lost receipt for my compact

Hi guys, I need some insight on my situation right now. I kinda lost my purchase receipt for my Fuji x100,in case I do need to use the warranty
coverage, must I have it? (The warranty booklet does say so). I need to know if it is possible for the shop to reprint a copy of the receipt if I have the
serial number, would be great if someone can share their experience with something like this. Thanks!

In my opinion you should first call up the store to check if they can reprint the receipt... Sometimes they do it out of goodwill.

Next you can call up Fujifilm servicing centre to check their policy.

These are the two organisations whose opinions matter, not ah mao and ah kao and ah keow on the internet... For all you know, they might not tell you the truth, or things might have changed since their experience.

Btw, sometimes the servicing centre can use batch to gauge the warranty period, at most you lugi a few months. But it's hard to say what their policy is, so you should ask them for the best accuracy.
