Very Inspiring. I am very much a fan of architectural shots myself. I've been trying to emulate such shots with the 'streaky' looking clouds in the background but to no avail, any tips or tutorials you could recommend that i could get into?

that's pretty true. since the add-ons aren't really much of a techno boost against the other (more on functionality, really) i'd say the g11 will be enough to meet your needs for a while. yeah i've been eyeing for a handy dandy backup cam myself and the G series looks pretty viable. anws, i think the G12's dial add-on is a good addition. and the rotating lcd definitely is a plus point against it's rival. price is pretty constant against the others too.
