Canon launches new camcorder XA30/35

Still no 4K.....yawn....

Canon has always been lagging behind others, so I already sort of expected their new camcorder to be just ful HD.

I think they want to reserve the 4k for their cinema line.

But that being said, others are already on 8k systems, while the top end of canon is just 4k...

Best of all, other manufacturers' 8k system allows the use of EF mount - totally bypassing the need for a canon cinema camera.
