First time with Baby (11mths)

This is my first time shooting an 11mths old child. (Feedback appreciated)

I ask my friend to bring her child to me for a photo session last week and these photos were shot in my living room with speedlites.

Technically, they look ok though rather flat on the first 2 images. content wise is pretty weak.

Photographing children is more then just taking nice shots of them... it is not difficult to do so if that is the intention. But the photograph should show who they are, what they do and how you can tell the baby is about 11 months old.

I would suggest you spend more time, observing the child and taking some images that tells more about the child.
