(apologize for the colours. lazy to correct it for upload at the moment. can anyone enlighten me? i shoot RAW, then do my edit through Adobe camera raw, must I convert into SRGB after I save as JPEG if I want to ensure the colours don't get duller? (I do set SRGB on camera, but I suspect it doesn't apply to me since I'm shooting RAW? Is that it?)

You would need to remember to set SRGB for colour profile on your Photoshop/ Lightroom.

i did a check and it is set to sRGB by default.

also most of the time i do my edit in adobe camera raw and just save the jpeg from there. yet the colours still get duller after i upload to flickr. :think:

lovely colours on 24th.
Like the shot from your blackberry (sunset from tampines 1 foodcourt), nice angle/composition and light, and doesnt look like singapore from first glance

i really think tampines does have potential for nice sunset shots ... a pity that i haven't seen anyone try there, maybe cause its too cluttered?

i think your neighbourhood abstract shots are really well done!

lovely golden hour light with a fine drizzle... and nothing but my blackberry curve with its dirty smudgy lens.

after a while you really do learn that the best camera is the one that is with you at the moment.

Hope nobody minds the deluge since I've been posting so rarely now.

My friend's house has a gremlin infestation in his kitchen!

bad things happen when you add water. your sink gets clogged.

when you pick it up.... it gives you a puss-in-boots impression

... anyway the first shot I got lucky manually focusing in a dim kitchen with my AI'D 50 1.4

the rest were with my tamron 17-50.

the jialat low light performance of the d300 makes me itch for full frame...
