There will be a Photoshoot outing this weekend, details as followed:

Date: 20/03/05 (Sun)
Time: 0800hrs
Meeting Place: Kallang Mac. (the one with KFC on the opposite)

What to shoot: Buildings, National Stadium, Indoor Stadium, Netball Court (with the gals), Motorcycle Racing events... and etc...

What to bring: what ever you think necessary to take your shots. (there will not be assistant to help you carry your stuffs, so bring what you can carry), and water (for drinking lah).

PLUG = Panasonic Lumix User Group

What is this? : This is our regular monthly gathering.
Basically, there is not hard and fast rule for this Social Gathering. It is open to all user of Panasonic Lumix Camera. (Past, Present, Future User).

What does the group do? : Mainly is just a social gathering for like minds to share their experiences, chit chat, try out new equipments from one another, platform for buy and sell transactions, window shopping if we are near to some camera shops, & some short session of fotoshoot at nearby location.

Where to meet? : Meeting location will not be fixed at one location all the time. This is due to the shooting session for each PLUG gathering. (you will like to shoot different location for different gathering right..?). But one thing for sure, we will try to arrange out gathering point as central as posible.
(Our first trail gathering is at City Hall)

Date : 1st Sat of Each Month (This is fixed)
Time: 2pm unless otherwise stated.

How many peole allow to participate? : There is no limited seats. as long as you can reach me if you can't find the meeting place. (Call me at96277469, don't sms, I got big fingers, and slow in replying... anyway, mine incoming is Freeee...)

Date: 25 March 2005 (Easter Friday)

Time: 6:30am. (Sunrise at around 7:08am)

Meeting Point: Area C BBQ-Pit 18. Check location map.

Too early want to skip Sunrise shoot; no problem! Just wait at East Coast Parkway McDonald by 9am (Second meetup).

Update(7th April, 2005)

Hi all,

I am exploring a group photo shooting at Kota Kinabalu during end May time frame. Particularly, we should go up to Mt. Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South East Asia.

Venue: Kota Kinabalu (Sabah, East Malaysia)
Date: between 6th August 2005 to 9th August 2005
Budget: {Need to check with tour agency}
Minimum to go: 6 to 8 pax

Itinerary (day 2 and 3 extract from a web site, to be confirmed with the tour agent, but should not be too much of a difference):

Day 01 (6th August 2005)
=================
Depart Singapore to Johor Bahru, take Air Asia to Kota Kinabalu, check in hotel. R&R for the rest of the day(Maybe city photo shooting?)

Day 02 (7th August 2005)
=================
Early morning depart for Mount Kinabalu. Start trekking up the mountain trail with a mountain guide. Pass through different vegetation zones and look out for flora and fauna. Overnight at Laban Rata Resthouse (3,353 meters)

Day 03 (8th August 2005)
=================
Early morning, start the climb for the summit. If weather permits, enjoy the breathtaking view of Sabah at the top with the dawn breaking over the horizon. Descend to the Park headquarters and transfer back to Kota Kinabalu

Day 04 (9th August 2005)
=================
Fly off from Kota Kinabalu back to JB, and transfer back to Singapore, else, R&R for the rest of the day, and depart from K.K. back to Singapore via JB.

I shall keep this info here, and will update again once I get more confirmed details.

There will be a fireworks display on the 1st of May(Sunday) near the Esplanade.
Decided to organize this outing since people were interested to go and take some pics!
We are open to suggestions on good places to go to take fireworks. Currently we are thinking of, Sheares bridge.

What: Plug #5 - TCSS (Talk kok sing song) session + portrait session
Where: As below
How: Bring a camera, take photo, go home, pass me a CD of some of your nicer shots
Why: To help newbies, and everyone who needs it. to have fun taking photos. practice interacting with subjects.
When: 3rd December 2005
Theme: Emotions (or anything that goes.. personally I'm interested to try this so.. ya..)

Itinerary:
1) Meet at Harbourfront MRT Macs' at 12pm for lunch.
2) Move off to station for the 2pm half-hourly SBS 409 @ Bus Interchange.
3) Have photoshoot from 2pm+ till pple go off ba.
4) If got enough car/space for the photogs + subjects, perhaps drive to Labrador park for a quick sunset shoot (for fun)..

Think anyone can join in any time.
Please assist me in praying for good weather, enough vehicles, and me winning toto.
