My little contribution to Strobist community. Shot in june 2009. 50mm F4 at 1/125. I think it was 2 x SB28 bounced into a 43" white photoflex umbrella. Used gimp to remove "gloss" or sweat on the face.
wahh using cyber syncs uh..
btw where are the 2 lights behind from, dun think strobes right so high.. abit distracting for me.
Alien Bees are called Cyber Syncs huh? I dunnoe lah bro. this ones are from my friends equipments. all of them...
the rear strobes are held by two other buddies. while the front is tru a Westcott Apollo. Was trying to attempt the 'paparazzi' styled shot by one of the Master Strobist..(I forgot his name).
ahuh... can always do again.. hehehe. a bit too bright you mean?
I was using cable remote for the camera and using my own arm to hold the light source 45 degrees from above.
Itching to experiment with more pro setup. Get a proper continuous lighting and softboxes after I save enough $$.
Hey bro!! you're good man! nice lighting setups. don't worry about the equipments used. at this current moment, you're achieving what others don't...your own experience. go on and experiment somemore! and enjoy the shoot too!!
(the equipments that i've used during the shoot wasn't all mine...*paiseh* sia)
Thanks..haha lucky shots I guess. It's interesting but troublesome though since I have yet to think of a way to attach thoses boxes on some stands where by I can adjust the angles instead of using my pillows (all I shot on my bed in my room LOL). Maybe will look for tougher boxes and make a better and larger version...paper boxes gets crumbled easily.
DIY Studio?? Wow...that's alot of handicraft to do.
lol wow you're back busy much?
