34 weeks left to this year, but it is not too late. I did a 4PAW last year on another forum, and it has actually help me improve a lot. Now that I am back home, and just got my 5DM3, its 4PAW again. To kick off, here are the first 2 for this week.

Week 19
I have been visiting Tampines Eco Green for this weeks 4PAW. Very quiet place. While I was sitting sliently looking for an interesting subject, All of the sudden, a pair of small ducks came running out of the bushes and flew off. My 300Lf4 is not long enough to reach small birds, and there are a lot of them. If any of you CSer is there to do birding, look out for a acrobatic blue throat bee catcher and later in the evening a Large-tailed Nightjar sitting in the middle of a path.

Week 22
The week passed very fast and suddenly I realise that all I have done this week for 4PAW was to scan the last few rolls of films that was taken in Moscow. So for this week 4PAW.

Last Impressions of Moscow:

Keeping Warm - I was walking along one of the back alley in Moscow, and saw her trying to keep warm beside the vent from the metro.

собаки в метро ~ Dog in the Metro~ - The Border Guard Dog @ Revolutionary Ploshad Metro. Its believed that rubbing the dog's snout will bring luck.

Rocket Ship - Taken on a snowy day. Kind of like a retro version of Futurama's rocket ship.

Goth@Arbat - Initially I want to name it Goth@MyDoorStep ... one of the goth infused design of the "7 sisters" in Moscow.

Week 23
Today, I went to MBS for an early morning walk and take some pictures. The sky was grayish and light was diffused without creating any harsh shadows. I thought of doing HDR, but the sky was not showing any drama at all. After shooting for a while with the 24-70, I switch to one of my "neglected" lens setup. Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 50mm f/4 with an arax tilt adapter. Focusing on Fullerton Bay and starting from Custom house, I tilt the lens upwards @ 6 degree, f/5.6 (I should have did another 1/2 stop down), did a HDR pano of 6 frames with 5 bracketed shot per frame.

So here is a early start to this week 4PAW. Hope you all like it. C&C welcome.

For Week 23, I have spend some time at the Botanic Garden to get some classic composition. Choose a bright mid-day to take the shots for a crispy blue sky. C&C welcome.

Water Features@BG - Due to the many level of exposure needed to get the foreground, mid-ground and background properly exposed. I use 7 exposures +/-1 ev and combine in exposure fusion, then tuned LR4.

Pavilion@BG - Three ambient exposure +/-1EV exposure fused and sky manually blended with -1ev exposure. Tunes in LR4

Symphony Stage@BG - Five ambient exposure +/-1EV exposure fused and sky manually blended with -1ev exposure.

Last week (week 24) was a no-show. Have been too busy to do any leisure photography.

Week 25 - finally caught a break. This week showcase is on bridges along singapore river. Taken with a Sigma 12-24mm version 1. Not the sharpest lens wide open, but at f/8-13, it perform well. When used properly, it shows almost no distortion.
