Week 20 - The Almighty Pylon Tower

A landmark which Signal comrades will never forget!
Managed to take a quick shot of it on my climb up 荷包山!

Week 21 - Singing Birds @ Dawn Break

Came across these mechanical cranes standing in the midst of a beautiful skyline during dawn break.

Newer generations will no longer see the greenery and attap houses which our parents use to grow up in.. I guess even mother nature evolves..

Week 22 - Waiting In The Rain

29-img_8288_cropped.jpg

This is the first of two consecutive Saturday mornings of heavy rain...

Ever had that moment whereby you find yourself stuck in the rain and just started staring blankly at the rain drops?

Week 23 (6th Jun - 12th Jun) - 雨后就会天晴吗?

Week 24 (13th Jun - 19th Jun) - Service

33-img_8798_wm.jpg

A staff from Turi Turi Resort's Tspa was making some adjustments to the positions of the orchids.. I was wondering how much a difference could it have made...

When she left, I decided to compose a shot for this.. I then begin to realise how beautiful it was due to the effort put in by the staff to make it a pleasant stay for us.. Kudos to the service!

I seriously wonder how many can appreciate the heritage behind the railway saga...

Week 28 (11th July - 17th July) - Children Are Like Kites

36-img_8847_cropped.jpg

"Children are like kites
You run with them until you are breathless.
They crash – you add a longer tail,
they hit the roof-top – you pluck them from spouts.
You patch and comfort, adjust and teach.
You watch them lifted by the wind
and assure them some day they’ll fly.
Finally they’re airborne
but they need more string
so you keep letting it out.
With each twist of the twine there’s
sadness and joy because the kite
becomes more distant and
you know it won’t be long before
it will snap the fine line
that has bound you together,
soar as it was meant to soar… independently free."

Week 36 (5th Sep - 11th Sep) - Circles
